Utranazz to Launch New K960 at the UK Concrete Show 2019
With March just around the corner, it’s getting close to one of the most exciting events in the construction industry’s calendar: the UK Concrete Show! Held at the NEC in Birmingham on March 20th and 21st, nothing comes close to the UK Concrete Show in terms of concrete equipment, with two halls and over 300 products on display.
This year, Utranazz is using the UK Concrete Show to launch its newest product: one of the UK’s only fully mobile wet concrete batching plants, the K960 will be on display at our Stand D40 in Hall 17. The K960’s unique weighing system, that ensures total accuracy to ±2% precision, results in an extremely homogenous product that easily allows the user to achieve quality accreditation. The final mix is discharged via a single 12” x 9” auger that slews through 180°, with outputs of up to 60m3/hour. Fully mobile and extremely versatile, the K960 is ideal for companies in the construction, road, infrastructure, ready-mixed concrete, pre-cast and recycling sectors, to name just a few.
Joining the K960 on Stand D40, we will also be displaying a Mercedes/Sermac Zenith 5Z42 truck-mounted concrete pump. Capable of producing up to 194m3/hour output, the 42m long 5-section Z-fold placing boom is 125mm in diameter and comes complete with twin-wall pipework and squeeze valve. Mounted on a new/unused 2019 Mercedes Arcos 4151, the 5Z42 has a 600-litre hopper capacity, 680-litre hydraulic oil tank, an auto-lube system and a 1,000-litre water tank with a high-pressure water pump and retractable hose.
On the smaller but no less impressive side, we will be bringing along a Turbosol concrete line pump: the TB40 City Pump. Anyone who saw us at the Concrete Show in 2018 may remember seeing a TB40 City Concrete Line Pump on our stand, but if you missed out then you will have the chance again this year! As the TB40 Concrete Line Pump can be mounted onto a 7.5-ton gvw cab/chassis, it is able to get onto the smallest of sites, access hard-to-reach areas and can negotiate busy city centres with ease. With an output of 40m3/hour, Utranazz’s Concrete Line Pumps provide the perfect combination of powerful pumping and a compact size, measuring just 6.2m in length and 2.06m in width. Utranazz designed the TB40 line pump with a specially lowered hopper for ease of use in conjunction with volumetric mixers.
The final product on our stand is the Turbosol T20X Mortar, Screed & Plaster Mixer / Pump. It is mounted on a single axle fast-towing trailer with lifting eye, manually-operated stabiliser leg, brakes and lights for road use. This 250-litre hopper capacity, 240-litre mixer capacity pump is capable of producing mortar, screed, plaster and other special mortars, such as insulating and ready-mixed, at variable outputs of 5-60 litres per minute via the 2L6 worm gear pump at a maximum pressure of 40 bar.
